“Without mathematics there is nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is numbers,” the famous quote of Shakuntala Devi, the Mathematical genius. Highlighting the importance of Mathematics in life, Vydehi School of Excellence, on 08th January 2021, held a ‘MATHEMANIA – AN ONLINE QUIZ’ competition for the students of Grade 8. The benefit of this competition was to boost interest in Mathematics and build up critical thinking skills of the students. The sums and the puzzles were challenging for the students and gained their self-confidence while answering the most difficult ones. It was a great learning experience for the children as they enjoyed the quiz a lot. The winners of the competition are:
