“Let them play! The more they play, the more resilient and socially adept they will become.” — Jessica Joelle Alexander
On September 27, 2024, Vydehi School of Excellence organized an exciting “Play Day” for Nursery and UKG students to give a break from routine academic work and allow them to explore learning through play and interactive activities. The day was packed with enthusiasm as students engaged in a variety of activities aimed at fostering creativity and physical activity. One of the highlights of the day was the vibrant forms of dance, where students expressed themselves through movement, rhythm, and coordination. Additionally, a fascinating science experiment captivated the students, giving them a hands-on experience of scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way.
Another unique aspect of the day was the “Picture Talk,” where students used images to spark discussion and explore stories, proving how visuals can communicate complex ideas more effectively than words. This activity not only enhanced their interpretive skills but also encouraged creative thinking. “Play day” was a memorable experience, providing students with a balance of learning and enjoyment, leaving them with smiles and new memories to cherish.
