TOPIC: FREEDOM IS MYTH

Today Grade 7 involved them into writing a paragraph on the topic FREEDOM IS MYTH as a part of their co-curricular activities. Students were asking to prepare 80-100 words paragraph based on the theme. Paragraph writing plays an important role in writing because they provide a framework for organizing ones’ ideas in a logical order. Using a clear structure for paragraphs helps guide the reader through written work and also builds a strong sense of responsibility among the students about the topic. They become much more aware and ready to conquer the future. Students came up with such thought-provoking topics like, “Everyone living in the democratic countries have political rights such as freedom of speech, freedom to choose their leaders and freedom in many other aspects of life. But still this freedom has limitations.” “Even in this 21st century in many societies, minorities and socially disadvantaged groups are vulnerable and are not in a situation to use their freedom in many aspects though legally they have the political rights”. “Though practically we have freedom to roam at any time, there are criminals in every society curtailing our freedom.”

Such creative writing not only encourage them to do academically well but also teach them to voice their opinions on relevant topics and shape their thoughts to be future ready.
