How often have we seen children imitating their parents! They seem to enjoy talking and walking just like their parents. Keeping this in mind, we organized a competition where the child and one of the parents would dress up alike and walk together on the ramp. Little did we expect the kind of reaction we got.

The competition was held on Saturday, the 15th of November, 2014. Nursery and LKG children participated in the event. The event was held in 2 slots, 9.30 and 11.00 a.m.

Parents and children were extremely creative and innovative in their dressing styles and in using the ramp. Some used the fairy costumes, some went the traditional way. Some dressed like rock stars, while some used the Pathan and Kerala styles. There were soldiers bulleting the enemies, there were newspapers telling the latest news, and there were some doing Garba dance on the ramp!! Some used this opportunity to make people aware of “Best out of waste”. The teachers were seen cheering and clapping for their little students and their parents who had put in so much effort to do their best.

The experience was truly thrilling for one and all and left everyone asking for more.
