Sapling planting activity took place in the Vydehi school campus today,the 30th of June. The young students quite enthusiastically participated in it. Being so close to mother nature , the students got revived and refreshed.

TREES contribute to the environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife and this triggered the interest of the students to actively contribute in creating a greener world.

It was a cloudy day which was perfect for sapling planting. They tilled the soil, pressed the saplings in the earthen pots with their tiny hands and while leaving for school today, they watered their saplings from the left over water in their water bottles.

All in all it was a fun experience for the students as well as the teachers. The students cannot wait to get their hands in the soil again!!!​
