“The Constitution is not a mere lawyers’ document, it is a vehicle of Life, and its spirit is always the spirit of Age.” – B.R Ambedkar
Our constitution which came into effect on 26th January 1950, tells us how our country should work. It gives certain valuable rights to all the citizens of India. Dynamism has been the biggest strength of our constitution.
To foster the significance of the Indian Constitution, the students of 7I and 7J of Vydehi School of Excellence gathered together to showcase their talents in the special assembly themed around, ‘CONSTITUTIONAL CARNIVAL: RIGHTS, DUTIES AND DEMOCRACY DELIGHT’. The assembly started off with prayer, followed by a mellifluous song, a mesmerizing dance performance and an enlightening talk show. A well scripted skit was staged to portray Fundamental Rights. Furthermore, the news reports apprised the audience with the happenings in and around the world and the street play enlightened the viewers with the importance of Fundamental Duties. Finally, the show came to an end with a vote of thanks by the participants.
It was a day filled with inspiration, celebration, and school spirit.
