Special Assembly for Makar Sankranti

Makar Sankranti is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India. As it is the festival of Sun God and he is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it. We had a Special Assembly for Makar Sankranti organized by UKG Staff and Students ofVydehi School of Excellence.

Students narrated how the Harvest festival is celebrated in various States of India. Harvest festival was celebrated by students with songs and dance performance. There was also a candy segment added to the celebration, which was a fashion parade by our tiny tots, they walked gracefully depicting traditional dressing styles. Children enjoyed the festival celebration.
