The students of Grade VI and VII at Vydehi School of Excellence were engrossed in a story telling workshop on 06-01-2020. They were taken on a fantasy ride when the musical narrator and Children’s writer Ilika Rajan flashed in and painted the workshop with her fantasy, secrecy and mystery.

The children were enchanted by her mystic characters and mind blowing stories from her novel. She kindled the students’creativity in a fun filled way of creating stories using several words and their rhyme, chosen randomly by the kids. Sentences were borrowed from different students using those words and were knitted into a well sequenced short story.

The students were much excited to find their story taking its brilliant shape and that finally was read as,“He was on a trip that seemed to be endless that he could not reach the address.But the adventure was fun and he found a gun.
He got a sense of horror when he saw himself in the mirror.
Stuck to his throat was a knife and that thrilled his life.”
It was a session of celebration that they enjoyed sharing her secrets and resolving her mysteries.
