Vydehians, formally adopted the Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan, on 2nd Oct 2014, marking the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and initiated Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan at Vydehi School of Excellence.

Under the Clean India Drive, our students involved themselves in several cleanliness measures that it intends to sustain on a long-term basis. Students have been sensitized to the cause of cleanliness in a bid to entrench the notion of cleanliness and hygiene in the fabric of the system.

The classrooms, labs, playground, school bus and open spaces in and around the school campus have been cleaned up over and above the routine cleaning is carried out by the our sanitation department.

To build up further awareness of the Swachh Bharat Mission, our students were also involved in street play promoting a clean environment, and have also visited Cheshire Homes (old-age home) and helped them in making their surroundings clean and tidy.

To build up further awareness of the Swachh Bharat Mission we also plan to organize slogan writings, poster makings/ awareness rally/street plays/ essay competitions etc. in and around the campus.
