Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together. When we listen and celebrate what is both common and different, we become wiser, more inclusive, and better as an organization. Diversity is a fact, but inclusion is a choice we make every day. As leaders, we have to put out the message that we embrace, and not just tolerate, diversity. A democracy thrives on diversity. “Before God, we are all equally wise, and equally foolish.” rightly said by Albert Einstein. Diversity means having a seat in the restaurant and inclusion is having a voice to order for the desired food.

Vydehi School of Excellence independently organized TEDx event on the theme “Inclusion and Diversity – The Winds of Change”, in Sai Keshava Auditorium on 24th June,2023. Tedx is about spreading ideas and thoughts through short and powerful talks and inspirational speeches.
It was a massive show of star cast comprising of speakers like Chief Innovation coach Naveen Lakkur, Padmashree Awardee K.Y. Venkatesh, Green Crusader A.P. Chandrashekhar, Dancer and actor Yamuna Srinidhi, Spider enthusiast Dr. Abhijith, Director and Producer Venkat Bharadwaj, Human rights activist Sana Suman, Deputy chief engineer Col (Dr) Vinod M Sasalatti, Robotics- AI expert Mahantesh, Marathoner B. Satish Chandra, The founder of Amintiri Suraj, Captain Shruti Chauhan and Archetypal student Aum Kalyanpur. The final showstopper act was performed by a remarkable, energetic and live music by the Swahaa Band. The speakers had inspiring personality and motivated the inmates of the hall. Their speech stimulated upliftment of thoughts among all. All the attendees were flabbergasted by the confounding and stupendous speech delivered by the speakers and the breathtaking performance by the Band. The event was triumphant and added to another accomplishment in Vydehi’s book of success.
