On 8th August 2018, Vydehi School of Excellence organized an educational visit to State Bank of India, Whitefield, for the students of Grades X-XII. It was an informative session where students observed the everyday working of bank very closely and understood the importance of the banking sector. They also learned about the hard work, dedication and sincerity of the employees in the bank.
The students were explained about different types of accounts, advances, and also about how to fill in a cheque, the importance of collateral, digital banking and other banking functions. They were also given an opportunity to experience the bank’s procedure of dealing with customers in routine regarding how to collect token and get customer services etc. It was indeed an informative and educative trip that helped the students learn banking functions practically.
