A Visit to the Lumbini Gardens

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the busy city of Bangalore , we decided to take students of Grade 2B and 2D to Lumbini Gardens to deepen their knowledge about their exhibition topic – “BEGIN A VOYAGE”.

Lumbini Gardens is a public park on the banks of Nagawara Lake in Bangalore, which is a quiet getaway to relax the mind and have fun. Students have spent some quality time in the beautiful company of nature, which was quite refreshing and educative. It has an ecofriendly boating park. It is a treat to the eyes to see its serene landscapes and lots of greenery.

Our kids tremendously enjoyed the boating experience and exciting rides at the Lumbini garden. Students enjoyed the Roller Coaster which was totally a different and enjoyable experience. Children learnt about the different types of boats, the materials used to make boats, and the different type of propulsions used in boats. Additionally, we had a pleasant walk overlooking gorgeous fountains. Students along with teachers had a great day.
