On 25th October 2018, students of grade 4A & 4B visited Vydehi Hospital and Research Centre. Our primary interest was to learn more about organ donation and transplantation.

Initially, Dr.Girish P. Vakrani, Associate Professor in the Department of Nephrology gave a presentation on Kidney donation. Thereafter, our students have clarified their doubts and had good interaction with the doctor. And also received valuable take-home messages such as eat healthy food, periodic health check-up,bringing awareness of voluntary organ donation.

Our topic being “Organ Donation – Live life, Give life.” for the exhibition is an appealing time for our children to learn and get to know the process of organ donation and transplantation. It was indeed an informative learning experience for our students to acquire more knowledge about our topic through actual exposure.
