WINGS OF FIRE

Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character. Rightly said by John.W.Holt-“If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not taking risks, and that means you’re not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more changes to learn and win.” Taking risks play an important role in learning. When we take risk through participating in any competition, we set such high standards for ourselves, that we have to go out every day and live up to that. Vydehi School students participated in an Interschool Competition- Wings Of Fire, organised by Whitefield Global School on 30th June,2023 and 1st July, 2023. They had organised for Cultural events like Fleet Clan, Ek Paatra Abhinaya, RJ Funny Bone, and Who has the Last Laugh? The students of middle school participated in all of the above events and Proudly bagged the second position in Fleet Clan. It is a group dance competition participated by Vydehians like Sinchana P., Siri Hemanth, Lakshmi S., Priyanshi Bhatnagar, Manasvini V., Bhadra Sethukumar, Lakshmi Jenny R. and Lola Manasvi. They proved their strength with their finese and postures and team co-ordination. Maanvi Khilolani of grade 6 secured the second position in Who has the last Laugh? She delivered a stand up comedy and took the judges on a hilarious ride managing to tickle the funny bone with her humourous words.
Another graceful moment for Vydehi School of Excellence. As the name suggests… Vydehians always strive for excellence..
Kudos to the winners……
