The Curriculum of the School has been developed keeping in mind the highest international standards to open minds and break the barriers and boundaries that confine learning. Our curriculum approach focuses on imparting skill based knowledge using sequential learning techniques. It follows an educational system based on 10+2 pattern of instruction of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
We provide an optimal teacher to student ratio of not more than 1:16, thereby enabling the teachers to give individual and personalised attention to the students. We follow unique teaching-learning methodologies that are student friendly and with student-centred paradigms. The emphasis at this stage is more on the acquisition of Language, Numeric & Social (LNS) Skills. During this stage, learning by doing and project based approach are applied.
The school aims at creating an amiable environment through its unique infrastructure and activities for the overall personality development of the child by inculcating a spirit of healthy competition, team work, and cooperation for positive contributions towards the family and community as a whole.
Assessment Policy: The school will follow a system of continuous and comprehensive assessment throughout the academic year.
For the academic year 2012-2013, we have 2 terms.
1st term – 4th of June to 12th of October, 2012
2nd term – 15th of October to 31st of March, 2012.
The students will be assigned grades for academic evaluation and co-scholastic assessment
For Class – I
No formal examination will be held. The school follows a system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) through a checklist of assignments and observations in order to develop a sense of curiosity and the desire to explore.
For class – II & III
The school follows a system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) through assignments and observational activities.
Besides this, the school will also conduct 2 unit tests of 25 marks each, for all the subjects per term. Besides the unit test, the school will conduct formative assessment of 50 marks for each subject in both the terms.
For class 1V & V
Scholastic Assessment: Formative and Summative.
Formative Assessment (FA): FA for each term will include one pen and paper assessment and one non- pen and paper assessment each:
Summative Assessment (SA): The term-end examination SA ( SA1 and SA2) for both the terms will be pen and paper assessments.

Subject Option – a Broad Framework:
English, Hindi, Kannada, EVS/general Science, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Science and French.
While seeking to impart the highest quality of education, we also aim to mould the students to be worthy and effective members of society. To achieve this aim, we have a variety of co-curricular activities. We have dance, music (English, Hindustani Sugam Sangeet with keyboard and harmonium, and Carnatic Vocal), art & craft, karate , physical training and yoga, as an integral part of our curriculum.
Field Trips & Educational Visits- are undertaken at regular intervals to enhance the knowledge of the students through exploration and exposure to real –life experiences.
House-System: The school is divided into four houses with the prime objective of inculcating in the pupils a sense of collective responsibility and solidarity, a sense of team spirit and to encourage healthy competition. The four houses are:
Emerald House-Green: Surging ahead towards power, progress and prosperity.
Sapphire house-Blue: Striving for Purity and Peace.
Ruby House-Red: Serving with Rigour, Fervour and Fortitude.
Topaz House-yellow: Stepping towards Excellence.
