Vydehi School of Excellence celebrated Teacher's day with great enthusiasm and vigour in a function which made a great display of students’ alacrity to please their gurus.  The whole program was planned and administered by the students of Vydehi School of Excellence. The program saw its beginning with the pre primary students welcoming their teachers on arrival by applying the traditional ‘tilak’ on their foreheads. This was followed by a special assembly in school. The students paid tribute to Dr Radhakrishnan, second president of India, who believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country" and to their teachers through speeches, poems, skits and dances. Management of ‘Vydehi School of Excellence’ honoured every teacher in the school with a memento, a token of appreciation for their sincere and dedicated effort to spread the light of knowledge among the students.

   
 
 
   
The children participated actively in the Republic Day celebrations held on 24th January. The theme of the Special Assembly (Republic Day) was “Unity in Diversity”. The preamble of our Constitution was read out by the students. The assembly concluded with a beautiful song “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara…”, sung by the students.Read More

Vkids-Vydehi School Annual Day 2012-2013
Annual Day was an event marked by the participation of every single student of the school. All the children got the opportunity to perform on stage. The highlight of the day was the Play which was based on the history of the land which thrived on the banks of river Cauvery. It ended with the beautiful message “Boundaries Don’t Protect Our Rivers…People Do…….. Save Our Rivers”.

Vydehi School of Excellence conducts a summer camp named “Fun Troopers 2013”, from 8th April to 17th May. This summer camp is designed as a fun and adventure bonanza for children belong to various age groups between 4 and 13. The activities include Music, Theatre, Art & Craft, Clay Modeling, Pottery, Yoga, Chess, Table Tennis, Robotics/Do Science and Little Chef. The prime mission of this summer camp is to explore the creativity and enthusiasm in children. Similarly, there are different programs available based on the requirements such as
 1) Full Day Care + Summer Camp (9 am – 5 pm) ;
 2) Half Day Care + Summer Camp (9 am – 1 pm / 1 pm – 5 pm) ;
 3) Full Day Summer Camp (10 am – 3 pm) ;
 4) Half Day Summer Camp (10 am – 12.30 pm / 1 pm – 3 pm).

ECC Garden Visit - Playgroup - Daycare on 26/11/12
Vydehi School of Excellence, Bangalore planned a field trip for kindergarten, day care and Nursery students on 26th November. The prime objective of the field trip was to take the kids to a place where they can relax and also learn a few things about nature. As a CBSE school that is rich in school facilities, Vydehi School brought montessori and nursery kids to ECC Garden in Whitefield in its school van, safely. It was a sunny day in ECC Garden and children were on cloud nine once they reached the garden because it was a very beautiful place where cute bunnies were playing. Pre-primary Kichentte Activity on 21/11/12
Kids are always curious to unravel the mystery behind cooking. They usually ask questions, regarding cooking, to parents such as ‘where does this food come from’ and ‘how does it get the aroma’ to know “what’s cooking” in the kitchen! Cooking, apart from being an art and hobby, is an essential thing one needs to learn to become self sufficient. If you learn preparing food items in the right way, it saves you a lot of time and money. Vydehi School of Excellence celebrated the children’s day function on 09/11/12
Children’s day was a special day for the students of ‘Vydehi School of Excellence’ as it was one of those occasions which both primary school students and play school students attended together. As a big event which featured both teachers and all the students, it was planned carefully. A poster made in blue colored paper carried a photo of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru who was also fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’ (Uncle Nehru) by Kids. It is on his birthday, India celebrates ‘Children’s day” to honor them. The Sports event for the primary school section was conducted in Vydehi School of Excellence, on 8th November 2012. Children were overwhelmed with their passion for sports and teachers organized the event in a way that it kept everybody very spirited from the beginning to end. The event, which is a part of the primary education, was all about showcasing students’ stamina, strength and intellect by participating in various outdoor- and indoor sports competition. The preliminary rounds of both indoor and outdoor games took place from 5th. Diwali Celebrations on 08/11/12
Diwali, a celebration of light and hope, is considered as one of our national festivals, which conveys the promising moral idea, ‘victory of good over evil’. India usually celebrate this luminous festival with lighting up ‘Dia’ and bursting fire crackers up, thanks to their symbolic meanings- Light of ‘Dia’ gets rid of darkness of ignorance and fire crackers are burst to drive away bad spirits. We deeply regret to announce the sad and sudden demise of Mrs Mousumi Biswas the Class teacher of Grade III. She was also handling Science and French Classes for Grade IV and Grade V respectively. She was a very dedicated and hardworking teacher .It will be difficult to fill up the void that she has left in the heart of the students and all her colleagues. We pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and may god endow the bereaving family with courage .

A trip to planetarium is always a fun ride for children, who generally are so keen to explore the world and it’s magic. Structured with great architectural brilliance and a giant screen, a planetarium always makes everyone feel like ‘soap opera stars’. With advent of August we are reminded of the most memorable day of the life of any Indian, the day is none other than the Independence Day. Independence Day, one of the three national holidays in India, is observed in all states and union territories of India. The special assembly on “Independence Day” was held in Vydehi School Of Excellence, it was informative and enjoyable. The school wore a festive look and the Tricolour was unfurled at the schools on the following day. Patriotic songs were played to mark the Independence Day. The first coloring competition of the year was held in Vydehi School of Excellence in June which witnessed some budding artist in full form .Their imaginative skills transformed the black and white sheets to amazing colorful pictures. Coloring as an art is a way of expressing emotions in a creative manner. Usually it is the practice of applying medium such as paint or color pigments to surfaces such as walls, glass, canvas and paper. Application is usually done by using objects such as brushes.
